Every building has the constrains and requirements, architecture has vision beyond these contains. This is the first step to achieving a project with greater vision.
Design Design Development
With a clear concept in place, the ideas are developed and worked through the detail of the your project. By then end of this stage, we have produced a set of drawings that show the design intent and all the documentation for your local council to asses the project for approval.
Construction Documentation
Having the design intent shown, we then take this and create a set of documents that a build can build from, with the minimal amount of changes along the way. Moving lines on paper is far more cost effective that moving walls that are constructed. A great set of construction documents will allow your project to be constructed with the greatest of ease. We also like to work through your selections of final finishes at this stage to avoid any delays through construction also.
Contractor Selection
With the project designed and documented. We now need to select the best builder for the project. We can help through this process by assessing and compiling a short list of builders, calling for tenders and reviewing. We then issue a report for your final selection.
Contract Administration
With a builder now selected, we can administer the project to ensure that it is built according to the design intent and as layout in the building contract. This ensures you area getting what you are paying for.
“May I say that I am quite pleased with the information contained in your report and the ideas generated from your visit to the site. Certainly, your notes about solar access, kitchen orientation and possible relocation of the laundry were elements that I had not considered…I also note that I felt as though we were on the same page from a design perspective and you had a good appreciation for the concept that we were after.â€
